whose real name is Muhammed Kutty.Mammootty was born in Chempu, a village near Vaikom in the Kottayam district of Kerala in the year 1953. He has acted in more than three hundred movies, most of them in malayalam. He has a very large fan following in South India. Although a lawyer by qualification, Mammootty always wanted to be an actor. His entry into filmdom was rather late. As bad luck would have it, his first film, Devalokam, never saw the light of the day. None other than the colossal figure in Malayalam cinema M. T. Vasudevan Nair discovered him and it was veteran director K. G. George who brought up Mammootty as an actor. Initially, K G George's films like Yavanika), and Valarthumrigangal, and Vilkanunde Swapnangal made him noticeable.

Mohanlal was born in the Pathanamthitta district of Kerala state in India to Sri. Viswanathan Nair and Smt. Santhakumari. He did his schooling and graduation (B.Com from M. G. College) in Thiruvananthapuram. He is married to Suchitra and has two children, Pranav and Vismaya. Malayalam film critics and enthusiasts regard his work in the 80s and 90s to be among the very best in cinema. At its peak, his art was noted for its versatility, understated intensity, emotional depth, comedic timing, and the ability to portray characters that embodied the Malayali ethos. Mohanlal is often considered to be one of the most natural actors in India. At his best, he seems to take to heart Oscar Wilde's prescription: "To reveal art and conceal the artist is art's aim."

Suresh Gopi is a popular Malayalam actor famous for roles in police dramas. He started his acting career in 1965 as a child artist in a malayalam movie 'Odayil Ninnum' a screen adaptation of a novel by the same name. After a long hiatus he retured to malayalam movies, playing the roles of a supporting hero or villian most notably in 'Irupatham Noottandu'. He also acted in a variety of supporting roles in a number of hit movies, notably Rajavinte Makan a screen adaptation of 'The Rage Of Angels' by Sidney Sheldon, Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha, Manichitrathazhu, Innale. In all of the movies he played important characters but were sidelined by the person in the lead role.His major break in a leading role came with "Thalasthanam" followed by "Ekalavyan" and "Commisioner" all of them Police dramas. He shot to superstardom with these movies and followed it up with roles in 'Lelam' and 'Vazhunnor'

He is the favorite of the family audience, and is usually cast as a hero of family dramas.Introduced his son, Kalidasan, to movies, acting alongside him in 'Kochu Kochu Santoshangal' and 'Ente Veedu Appuntem' for which Kalidasan won the National Award for Best Child Artiste.Won the State Award for Second Best Actor & Special Jury Award for his performance in Swayamvarapandhal (2000). Dileep whose real name is Gopalakrishnan, is one of the most successful actors in Malayalam films. He started his carrier as a mimicry artist and had small comedy roles in films. The film Sallapam was a turning point in his career, where he graduated to serious roles.His comic timing and dialogue delivery in films like Panjabi House, Kalyana Sougandhikam, Ee Parakkum Thalika etc. made him very popular among the Malayalee audience, and he rose to stardom with his later films like Joker, Meesha Madhavan etc. However, the actor is yet to prove his abilities to handle a wide spectrum of characters other than comedy.
