Charmi (Charmy Kaur) made her acting debutthrough Telugu film "Nee Thodu Kaavali" in 2002. Her next film was "Kadhal Azhivathillai" with superstat Chimbu (Silambarasan). Both movies are flop, though she got noticed on south Indian film industry. Unluckly her most movies came these times were big flops including malayalam movie "Kattuchembakam" which was directed by Vinayan. After lots of flops in her career, finally Charmi got a big break in Telugu movie "Gowri" in which she was paired with Sumanth. After that big success of the movie she did'nt have look back. The super success of next movie "Mass" with Nagarjuna made her film career more strong.  Movie "Anukokunda Oka Roju" which was a heroine oriented, Charmi's performance was acclaimed by critics.
