The shooting of Malabar Wedding, starring Indrajith and Gopika in the lead and directed by debutantes K.G. Rajesh and A.M. Faizal, is progressing fast at Palakkad. Rajesh and Faizal have earlier assisted veteran directors Priyadarshan and Major Ravi. The movie tells the story of a cool, easygoing young guy who falls for a Keralite girl brought up in Kolkata.
Others in the cast include Suraj Venjaramoodu, Naveen, Santosh Jogi, Mamukkoya and Bijukuttan. Velraj cranks the camera and Rahul Raj helms the music. Malabar Wedding, produced by T. Santhosh Kumar and K.B. Devarajan under the banner of Minerva Creations, is slated for an April release.
